The inspiration for this Dark Tale Novelette sprouted from a collection of character illustrations I created using AI. What began as a lighthearted discussion with my co-writer, Alma Feka, evolved into an exciting writing experiment. We embarked on a collaborative journey, taking turns to craft a narrative that built upon each other's ideas. With no prior research, plot, or storyline, we forged a tale from the sheer visual of a single character.

Initially conceived as a playful endeavor, we soon found ourselves wholly engrossed in an uncharted realm we never anticipated exploring.

At the heart of our story lies our enigmatic protagonist, The King. We encounter him amidst a fierce battle, resigned to his imminent defeat and preparing to surrender. Yet, amidst the chaos, extraordinary events unfold, propelling him on a peculiar quest for redemption. Venturing into an unknown world, he will encounter an array of captivating characters and situations that challenge his perception of self. Through these encounters, the King will gradually discover that he is not the man he once believed himself to be.
